The Fed has finally raised the target Federal Funds rate by 25bps to the mid-point of the 0.25%-0.50% target range.  It has also provided the predictions of all FOMC members of the future path of the Federal Funds rate - the so-called ‘dots’.  The median dot for 2016 is the midpoint of the 1.25%-1.50% range, implying four rate increases of 25bps during 2016.  For 2017 the median dot is the midpoint of the 2.25% -2.25% range implying four more 25bps rate increases during 2017.  During 201...
